Sports under the microscope

Sport under the microscope was a sports program of the Südwestfunk , from 1998 of the successor Südwestrundfunk .

The series of programs introduced in September 1968 for the third TV program on SWF Südwest 3 by Rudi Michel , who was head of the sports department at the SWF in Baden-Baden at the time, was devoted to sports reporting beyond current topics and focused in particular on background reporting. After the merger of the SWF with the SDR in 1998, the program was initially included in the broadcasting schedule of the future SWR television and discontinued in 2000.

Alongside Rudi Michel, the show's presenters include other well-known sports journalists such as Hans-Reinhard Scheu , Volker Kottkamp and Michael Antwerpes .
