The sports group for the physically handicapped South Tyrol (SGKS) brings together 106 South Tyrolean physically handicapped people in different sections.

Goal setting

Objective of the sports group is next to the elite sports and the grassroots to actively support and promote. It offers a broad program, which is divided into the following sections: Alpine skiing , cross-country skiing , cycling , tennis , sitting ball and sledge hockey . All sections are headed by an honorary section head who is responsible for all organizational matters.

The sports group has been active since 1990 and is able to provide top athletes nationally and internationally in several disciplines.

Numerous athletes have won important titles in the course of the club's history and thus contributed to multiple victories in the team classification at the Italian championships:

Popular sport

In addition to competitions, the focus is on promoting popular sport. Courses and training camps offer the youngsters the chance to compete in sport and strengthen their self-esteem.
