The Sports Palace of the Kuznetsk Metallurgists ( Russian Дворец спорта кузнецких металлургов ) is a multi-purpose hall in the Russian city of Novokuznetsk , Kemerovo Oblast . The hall is the venue for the home games of Metallurg Novokuznetsk from the Vysschaya Hockey League .
history
The sports palace of the Kuznetsk metallurgists, which opened on October 1, 1984, is mainly used for ice hockey games. The Metallurg Novokuznetsk ice hockey club from the Vysschaya Hockey League has played its home games in the hall since the arena opened. Since 2009 the junior team Kuznetskije Medvedi Novokuznetsk from the Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League has played its home games in the Sports Palace.
