The second Tre Province sports car race took place on August 10, 1930.

The race

The race on the Circuito Tre Province , a 128 km stretch from Bologna via Pistoia to Modena, is significant in terms of motorsport history, as this race marks the first Scuderia Ferrari victory in a sports car race.

For the racing team founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929 , Luigi Arcangeli won after almost two hours of driving with a lead of six minutes over his team-mate Mario Tadini .
