Speechless (brand of cigars)
Speechless is a brand of cigars that was first produced in the GDR . The brand was produced in the VEB cigar factory in the plants in Treffurt and Dingelstädt . Speechless cigars had a reputation for being a particularly inferior brand in GDR times, which gave rise to many puns.
The package consisted of a folding box made of cardboard , the tri-color (blue, brown, red) was printed. The retail sales price was fixed and was never changed (2.40 marks for 20 pieces).
After the GDR , the Treffurt cigar factory was taken over by the Dannemann Group , which continues to sell cigarillos under the Sprachlos brand to this day .
