Speech technology

The language technology sets the theoretical research results of the voice-oriented basic research into practical and technologically usable applications. The applications include speech recognizers , translation systems , passenger information systems , context technology (evaluation of the content of electronic documents), dictation systems, Internet search engines , spell checkers , full text searches and expert systems . The theoretical basics are provided by the language-related areas of artificial intelligence and computational linguistics / linguistic data processing.
