The Springtail Bluff ( English for Springtail Cliff ) is a steep and south-facing cliff in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Anare Mountains , it borders the eastern half of Mount Hemphill and rises to the west of the confluence of the Robertson Glacier with the Ebbe Glacier .
The northern group of from 1963 to 1964 carried out the campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named the cliff after the found here arthropods of the class of springtails ( Latin Collembola ).
