Sprite Island ( English for Goblin Island ) is a 270 m long and 150 m wide island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It belongs to the Vardim Rocks southwest of Devils Point , the southwestern extension of the Byers Peninsula on Livingston Island .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2011 based on the name of the neighboring Devils Point.
