The syringe Luebbenau is under monument protection standing firehouse in Old Lübbenau / Spreewald in Oberspreewald-Lausitz in the south of Brandenburg .

Description and history

The syringe house is located at Spreestrasse 12 in Lübbenau's old town. It was built around 1900. The building is a single-storey brick building with a gable roof . In the middle of the syringe house there is a four-storey riser tower with a tent roof , which was already added in the course of the construction of the syringe house.

The main base of the Lübbenau volunteer fire brigade is now in the Neustadt industrial park , but the old syringe house is still in use. A tank fire engine ( TLF 16/24 ) and a small fire engine are currently (2018) stationed in the old town .
