The sports association Weiskirchen is a sports club from Rodgau . The club was created in 1922 through the merger of TG Weiskirchen, founded in 1893, and Teutonia Weiskirchen, founded in 1906, and was henceforth called Spvgg 1893. The club operates football , athletics , martial arts and gymnastics . In the mid-1980s, the club's teams competed in both the trampoline and men's gymnastics league. The club's athletes were able to win gold once ( Karl-Heinz Hüninghake ) and silver ( Christian Pöllath ) at the 1986 World Trampoline Championships.
Stadion
The stadium is called "House of Sports" (approx. 500 seats); Curiosity: The sports association has a sand court and a grass field . Both seats have been lowered by about two meters because a grandstand was planned after the state league promotion in 1996. This was never built because the club had to file for bankruptcy in 1998 and started again in the district league .
