Srez
Srez ( Serbian - Cyrillic Срез ) was the name of an administrative unit between Okrug (district) and Opština (municipality) in the Principality of Serbia , the Kingdom of Serbia and in Yugoslavia . The Srezovi (Mz.) Were subordinate to the Okruzi and comprised several individual communities.
The Srezovi were abolished in 1965 and have not been an administrative unit since then, but are still used in the cadastral system. The Ujesde in Russia and the Soviet Union were a similar administrative unit .
