history

The company was founded in 1899 as a glass cleaning company. From this, the oldest company division, building cleaning, developed. Hans Mosbacher has been running the company in the third generation since 1988.

In 1988 the temporary employment and personnel management, in 1989 the industrial cleaning including maintenance and repair, in 2004 the security services and in 2009 the track construction security were added. The company has been family-owned for over 50 years.

Group sales have recently increased from 78 million euros (2013) to 170 million euros (2016, planned). In 2016 the Stölting Service Group employed well over 6,000 people.

Sponsorship

The Stölting Service Group has been the name sponsor of the Stölting cycling team since 2012 . From December 1, 2015 to July 2019, the stadium at Hünting in Bocholt was sponsored by the Stölting Arena . Since August 16, 2017, the company has also been a sponsor of the Bundesliga soccer club FC Schalke 04 , which is also based in Gelsenkirchen . Since August 2018, the company has also been the main sponsor of FC Schalke 04 basketball in the 2nd ProA basketball division . On July 1, 2020, the Stölting Service Group is also set to become the new security service provider of FC Schalke 04, succeeding Securitas .
