Saint-Antonin in Bussy-le-Grand ( Département Côte-d'Or ) is a Romanesque church in Burgundy and is one of the most notable Romanesque country churches in the department.

Main nave

The core of the church is a three-aisled basilica with a transept, crossing tower and rectangular choir from the 2nd quarter of the 12th century. In the 16th and 17th centuries, the aisles were partially changed, chapel extensions were built and the nave was provided with a gable roof spanning all three aisles. The tower with blind arches and acoustic arcades (see Chapaize ) was increased by one storey in the 19th century. The main nave without a coffin is vaulted by a typical Burgundian pointed barrel with belt arches, the side aisles have groined vaults. As in Bard-le-Régulier and Bligny-sur-Ouche , the Cluniac architecture, reduced by the Cistercians, was exemplary (see Fontenay ). The Romanesque capitals show the influence of Saulieu . The church is rich in furnishings from the 16th to 18th centuries.
