history

The church, consecrated to St. Kea von Landkey , was built in the 16th century and is at the core of the Pont-Croix School of Construction . This late Gothic building is preceded by older predecessor buildings that are said to go back to the missionary work of St. Kea in the 5th or 6th century.

The oldest parts of the church are the west facade in the Flamboyant Gothic style and the central nave from the 16th century. The transept was built in the 17th century and bears the dates 1649 and 1661. The bell tower , which originally stood above the crossing , dates from 1737, the southern porch was added in 1772. Major restorations were carried out in the first half of the 19th century. A final repair followed in 2008.
