Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul church in Vert-Saint-Denis

The Catholic parish church of St-Pierre-St-Paul in Vert-Saint-Denis , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the 13th century. The church on the Place de l'Église has been classified as a Monument historique since 1980 .

history

The church was built on the site of a previous Romanesque building, which is handed down in a document in 1174. The base of the tower and carved capitals inside date from this period. The church was rebuilt in the 16th century.
