St. Anthony Church

The St. Antonius Church is the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bispingen .

Its construction was decided by the parish council in 1899, the foundation stone was laid nine years later and on November 8, 1908 the neo-Gothic church, which cost 107,000 marks and was designed and built by Eduard Wendebourg , was completed.

Field stones from the area were used for the base and the walling of the tower, and around one million bricks from the brickworks in Brackel were used for the rest of the construction .

The pulpit , the altarpiece and the baptismal font from 1406 come from the Ole Kerk .
