It was built between 1828 and 1830 according to plans by Karl Friedrich Schinkel in the classicism style. It belongs to the parish area Sangerhausen in the parish of Eisleben-Sömmerda the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

history

Due to the dilapidation of the previous building, the municipality planned a new building. The submitted plans were revised by Schinkel and from December 1828 a plan following his normal churches was implemented . The elongated hall is spanned by a gable roof . To the west it ends with an apse . A bell tower on a square plan is presented to the east.

The furnishings include a wooden human hair crucifix from the 15th century and a baptismal font depicting the baptism of Christ from 1709.
