St. George Church

The St. George Church is a church in Krummendiek .

The current church building dates from 1699. In front of it there was a church built in 1233 by the knight Hartwig Busche , which replaced an even older, dilapidated church, which is said to have been donated by Archbishop Adaldag in 949 .

Today, the church, together with the Martin Luther Church in Mehlbek, forms the parish of Krummendiek-Mehlbek in the Rantzau-Münsterdorf parish of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany .

The church is a registered cultural monument in Schleswig-Holstein.
