history

Already during the First World War the Steyler Mission Sisters set up a hospital for the wounded in their monastery in the center of Haan. In 1919 the sisters expand the military hospital with an operating theater. When the capacity limit of the house was reached, the order decided in the 1960s to build a new building on the Bollenberg .

Today, specialist departments in hospitals, specialized centers and practices on the clinic premises offer medical, therapeutic and nursing care. In the meantime, the Steyler Mission Sisters have given up the sponsorship .

Departments

The hospital houses departments such as internal medicine , diabetology , pain therapy and various surgical departments .

There are also certified centers, some of which have catchment areas that extend beyond the urban area.
