Construction and building history

There was a previous building that was first mentioned around 1220. The current building is in parts still Romanesque , but it was essentially built during the Gothic period in the first half of the 16th century.

The church has a rectangular floor plan with a three-bay nave, which is provided with a cross vault . The tower does not take up the entire width of the nave. He moved into the ship in the southwest corner.

The building made of rubble stones is plastered as stone. This means that the plaster layer only fills the depressions and the stones are visible in many places. The tower and ship are slated. The pointed spire has four corner turrets at the base, two of which are decorated with finials .

Furnishing

The following pieces of equipment are inside:

  • a font from the 16th century
  • a high altar and the wooden pulpit from the 17th century
  • two wooden side altars from the first half of the 18th century.
