St. Dionysius is a chapel in the Serm district of Duisburg . It is surrounded by fields, on the road from Mündelheim by Serm and belongs to the Catholic parish of St. Dionysius in Mündelheim. The baroque brick building with curved gables was erected in 1723 and is used for Corpus Christi parades and liturgical processions. The path between chapel and church symbolically corresponds to the last walk of the already beheaded Bishop Dionysius of Paris .
