St. Elisabeth Church in Hagen

St. Elisabeth is a Roman Catholic church in Hagen , North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany.

The foundation stone of the church was laid on June 28, 1925, the consecration took place on April 18, 1927. The first pastor of the parish vicarie was Father Ubald Michels, OFM . The neo-baroque church was dedicated to St. Consecrated to Elisabeth . On April 1, 1934 from the Pfarrvikarie an independent parish .

The four-part cast steel bell was purchased in 1954 and sounds in c sharp'-e'-f sharp'-a '.

Franciscan fathers led the community until October 16, 1988, hence the popular name monastery church .

Today the parish of St. Elisabeth and the parish of Heilig Geist , Hagen-Emst, belong to the Hagen-Mitte pastoral association in the Archdiocese of Paderborn . The Young Church of the Deanery Hagen-Witten has been located in the weekday chapel since autumn 2009.
