The parish church of St. Johannes Baptist is the Catholic village church of Attenkirchen (Upper Bavaria). It is visible from afar on a small hill in the center of the village. The current baroque building dates from 1762 and replaced a previous building. The tower top is from the 19th century.

The high altar is adorned with two painted wooden figures. Both date from the 15th century. One depicts the church patron John the Baptist with the book in his right hand, on which the lamb lies. The second figure shows the apostle John with a chalice in his left hand, which he blesses with his right hand.
