St. Joseph near Probstried

The small Roman Catholic field chapel St. Joseph is located just outside the southwest of Probstried , a district of Dietmannsried in the Oberallgäu district ( Bavaria ) in an open field. The field chapel mentioned in 1823 is a listed building. The building is a semicircular gable structure, the east side of which is framed with pilasters . The field chapel is covered with a gable roof . Inside there is a wooden figure of St. Joseph . A notice board contains the following inscription:

Joseph Chapel
belongs to house no. 21 in Haslach-Probstried, mentioned and painted in 1823 by Johann Brecher von Überbach. Renovated in 1956 by Fridolin Leising Altbauer in Probstried, whose wife Michaelina Kaufmann was born here.
