St. Kitts and Nevis Chess Federation
The St. Kitts and Nevis Chess Federation (SKNCF) is the umbrella organization for chess players in the Caribbean island state of St. Kitts and Nevis . It was officially founded on March 9, 2019.
The first president-elect is former Ambassador to the United States , IzBen Williams .
The primary goal of the association should first be to hold a national chess championship as soon as possible and to establish the sport of chess in schools. In the medium term, the aim is to take part in the Chess Olympiad .
FIDE Vice Presidents Nigel Short and Ian Wilkinson were present as guests of honor at the founding organizer .
As of June 20120, neither women nor men with an Elo rating are listed on the FIDE website.
