St. Lamberti in Querfurt

St. Lamberti is a listed Protestant church in the city of Querfurt in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is listed as a monument under registration number 094 05976 .

The St. Lamberti Church is located at Kirchenplan in Querfurt. The sacred building is consecrated to Saint Lambert of Liège and appointed city church. The church was damaged and rebuilt in the various city fires in Querfurt. Parts of the tower date from the 13th century, its roof hood was built from 1703 to 1706. In 1643 General Königsmarck had the upper part of the tower torn down because it was likely to endanger the castle. The nave and choir were built in the 15th and 16th centuries. Columns in the church come from the Marienzell monastery from the 12th century.
