History and equipment

The choir is the oldest part

The church of Pfettrach is on the southern outskirts. Parts of the choir from the late Gothic church were taken over into the new building from 1684 (consecration in 1689). The nave and the presented west tower go back to 1866/67. The choir vault has rich stucco (2nd quarter of the 18th century) and shows the hll. Florian, Sebastian, Rochus and Georg.

The high altar comes from "Unseres Herr Ruh" near Ilmmünster (1780) and was acquired in 1861. The altarpiece shows St. Lantpert. On the pulpit from 1866 there is a small baroque sculpture of St. Michael.

Under the organ gallery there is a Vesper picture in a wall niche, a sculpture from the beginning of the 15th century (Pieta).
