Elgar Baeza , full name Elgar Alfredo Baeza , (born November 8, 1939 in Montevideo ) is a former Uruguayan football player .
Career
societies
Defensive player Baeza began his professional career in 1955. He played for Danubio FC and River Plate Montevideo . From 1963 to 1967 he was a member of the Nacional Montevideos team, which won the Uruguayan championship in 1963 and 1966 during this period. In addition, Baeza reached the finals of the Copa Campeones de América in 1964 with the "Bolsos" . There his club lost to CA Independiente . In the 1968 season the Club Atlético Peñarol was his employer, with whom he was also Uruguayan champion that year.
