History and architecture

A church was built in Schreibershof from 1869 to 1870. In this hall building with a choir , the flat ceiling rested on free-standing wooden supports. The rear of the building was extended in 1932 according to plans by the diocesan master builder Kurt Matern . The new building is wider than the old one, its walls made of plastered masonry are structured by arched windows. The design of the hipped roof is adapted to the old building. The tower is offset and loosens up the building. In the axis of the church, a baptismal font protrudes outwards in a semicircle. In the interior there is an organ gallery with a wooden parapet.
