In 1870 the chapel was rebuilt and expanded by the citizens of Wutzlhofen without the permission of the pastor of Sallern and the rebuilding was only consecrated later. In 2003 the chapel was renovated.
building
The 8 x 5.50 meter large church with a semicircular apse is a late Classicist eaves and hipped gable roof building with ridge turrets and pilasters from the 1st quarter of the 19th century. A war memorial chapel for the soldiers who died in the two world wars is attached to the east wall Wutzlhofen. The high altar inside has a wooden sculpture that depicts Mary enthroned on the globe.
