St. Maria Magdalena (Bad Bibra)
The Protestant Church of St. Maria Magdalena is located on the Domberg in Bad Bibra in the Burgenland district in Saxony-Anhalt . It is under monument protection and is registered with the registration number 094 84468 in the monument register of the state.

building
The Gothic west tower has been preserved from the previous building, an Augustinian canons' church. This has groin vaults on the ground floor and on the first floor. The tower is dated to the year 1402 with an inscription. In the years 1868 to 1871 it was integrated into the neo-Gothic church building that exists today. The hall church has a lower polygonal choir than the nave , which is flanked by two narrow side choirs.
inner space
Inside there is a horseshoe-shaped, circumferential gallery . This is suspended in the pillars of the wooden supports supporting the ceiling structure. This creates the impression of a three-aisled hall. There are groin vaults in the choir.
Furnishing
The altar, the baptismal font, the stone pulpit and the stalls are made in neo-Gothic forms and date from 1880. The organ was built in 1871 by Wilhelm Heerwagen and in 1935 was enriched by wooden angel statues by Ernst Pfeifer from Munich. From the previous building, twelve late Gothic wooden statues from around 1500 come from various altars. Two of these statues are in storage. Also stored are two simultaneous altar wings painted on both sides with depictions of the birth of Christ, the Annunciation, the Adoration of the Magi and the Visitation.
Others
A figural tombstone for a canon Schuchart dates from 1522. A memorial stone for a donor with a church model is dated to the 15th century. The bronze bell was cast by Johann Georg Ulrich in 1745. There is a round baptismal font from the 16th century in the church's cemetery.
