Heyerode, St. Marien

The old Catholic village church of St. Marien is at Zittelstraße 6 in Heyerode , a district of the rural community of Südeichsfeld in Thuringia .

The plastered hall church is covered with a gable roof, from which a roof tower rises, which carries an open lantern . It has a three-sided closed choir . It was built in 1719. The interior is equipped with a baroque altar . There are two-story galleries in the entrance area , the organ is on the upper one .
