The branch church has belonged to the parish of St. Georg Obertraubling since 1817 .
The church is a hall building with a retracted choir and flank tower with a tent roof from the 2nd half of the 17th century. The core of the 32 m high tower is Gothic . The roof dates from 1900. In 1986 the nave was extended to the south and a total renovation took place. In 1844 the two side altars, dedicated to Maria and Joseph, were added by purchase, and in 1869 a way of the cross made by the church painter Stahl from Regensburg based on a template by Schraudolph . The old organ with 4 registers was built in 1900 as Op. 88 built by the organ building company Binder and Siemann .
Today's organ from the Sandtner company from Dillingen with 17 registers dates from 1992.
