Church in Heuthen

The Roman Catholic village church St. Nikolaus is in the municipality of Heuthen in the Eichsfeld district in Thuringia .

history

The baroque church was built between 1745 and 1749. It was Heuthener who artfully furnished the village church , so that the interior work is said to have taken 30 years. Personality values have also been immortalized in the church.

This is one of the reasons why the church remains the center of attention because deprivation and donations led to this unique result.

In the church there is an interplay of high and side altars. Stucco and frescoes show ecclesiastical values to linger and pray.
