The parish church of St. Peter is a parish church in Passau .

It is located on Neuburger Strasse in the southwest of Passau and was built between 1963 and 1965. The large, modern building is the work of the Munich architect Hansjakob Lill .

The church has a parabolic floor plan with a light tower for the sacrament house. It is 56 meters long and 25 meters wide. The modern equipment comes from Leopold Hafner. A confessional chapel is located next to the entrance, and a lower church serves as a weekday chapel. The parish center is attached to the church. The Church of St. Peter is the second largest church in the city of Passau after the Passau Cathedral . Due to its parabolic floor plan and the structure of the inner wall, it has excellent acoustics and is therefore often used as a concert hall for sacred concerts.

The parish of St. Peter was formed in 1965 from parts of the parish of St. Anton and a small part of the parish of St. Josef .
