The Protestant village church of St. Severin is in the Eberstädt district of the Sonneborn community in the Gotha district in Thuringia .

history

The Protestant village church of St. Severin is of medieval origin. In 1780 a new nave was added to the old church tower . In the church there is a crucifix from the 15th century. In 1992 the nave from the 18th century was restored.

In August 2009 the press reported that the church in Eberstädt had received a new roof based on the original condition with luminous beaver tails .
