The St. Sofroniy Knoll (English; Bulgarian Св. Софрониева могила Sw. Sofroniewa mogila ) is a 107 m high hill on Snow Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises 1.3 km southwest of the President Head .
British scientists mapped it in 1968. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2006 after the Bulgarian Bishop Sophronius von Wraza (1739-1813), an activist of the Bulgarian National Revival .
