St. Trinitatis (Riethgen)
The Protestant village church of St. Trinitatis is located in the municipality of Riethgen in the Sömmerda district in Thuringia . It belongs to the parish area Kindelbrück in Kirchenkreis Eisleben-Sömmerda the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .
history
This village church was first mentioned in a document from 1661 to 1662. That was also the time of edification. Later, around 1714, alterations were made using older components.
The church is a plastered hall church with a mansard roof and turret made of half-timbered and tented roof . In the east the house has a straight choir closure .
Inside, the room has a mirror vault and furnishings from the 18th century. Galleries , stalls , pulpit altar , baptismal stands , altar table and altar block as well as lectern and lecture cross belong to the sacred equipment.
