St. Trinity (Unterellen)
The Evangelical Lutheran village church of St. Trinitatis is located in the Unterellen district of the Gerstungen community in the Wartburg district in Thuringia .

The church is located in the center of Unterellen not far from the Elte . The fire station is right next to the church.
history
The church was built in the 15th century and is one of the oldest buildings in the town. The oldest bell bears the year 1463 and probably indicates the consecration at that time . The church got its present shape with the renovation in 1714.
Extensive renovations of the interior took place in the 20th century. Today the church has modern underfloor heating . Thanks to a private donation, a new window was installed in the north wall of the church tower in 2011.
