St. Veit Church in Unterglauheim

The Catholic parish church of St. Veit in Unterglauheim , a district of the Bavarian community Blindheim in the district of Dillingen an der Donau , is a building from the 20th century. The church is a protected architectural monument .

History and architecture

The St. Veit consecrated church was built on the site of a previous building from the year 1736th The construction of the hall began in 1921 and was completed in 1923. It has a barrel vault and a retracted, three-sided closed choir . The free-standing tower with a square substructure and a two-storey octagon is crowned by an onion dome. The west gable is decorated with volutes in neo-renaissance forms .

The equipment is from the time of the new building.
