St. Vincentius (Heidweiler)
The parish church of St. Vincentius is the Catholic village church of Heidweiler (Rhineland-Palatinate). It was built in 1416 on a small hill south of the village, making it one of the oldest churches in Heckenland . The choir was built in 1644.
The high altar , which is decorated with rich rococo carvings, is of particular art historical value . It originally served as a side altar in a church in Piesport . The celebration altar contains the bones of the pastor Peter Friedhofen and the sister Blandine Merten .
