The Protestant town church St. Wigbert is in Heldrungen , a district of the town and rural community An der Schmücke , in the Kyffhäuserkreis in Thuringia .

history

The town church was first mentioned in 1697. In the Thirty Years' War the previous church was completely destroyed and the current church was rebuilt. The documents for this are not verifiable on record.

The organ was installed in 1840. The church tower has been renovated and painted in the recent past. These works are planned for the nave inside and outside.
