The Stańczyk Hill ( English ; Polish Wzgórze Stańczyka ) is a 250 m high hill on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises between the Matejko and the Stwosz ice falls .
Polish scientists named it in 1980. It was named after the court jester Stańczyk (≈1480 – ≈1560).
