The Staanegger Weier , in other words Staanegger Weiher , is a pond west of Hüttwilen in the canton of Thurgau , Switzerland . It has a length of about 150 m and a width of 50 m.
geography
The pond, which is a few meters deep, is 542 m above sea level. M. , is mostly surrounded by trees and is located on a 12.7 km long circular hiking trail from Stutheien via Schloss Steinegg –Staanegger Weier– Nussbaumen - Nussbaumersee –Ruine Helfenbergnach to Hüttwilersee. About 1 km south of the Stanegger Weiers lies the much larger Hüttwilersee .
