State College Šiauliai ( lit. Šiaulių Valstybinė kolegija , SVK ) is a state university in Šiauliai , to 2003 single Groups in Šiauliai County . It has 2 faculties. There are 20 courses.
history
In July 1946 the nurses ' school and in 1959 the Agrozootechnikum Šiauliai were founded. In 1961 the technical center became the Šiauliai Polytechnic and in 1991 the Šiauliai Higher Technical School . In 1991 the medical school of the Šiauliai Higher Medical School was established and in 2002 the Šiauliai College. The two higher schools became the faculties of the college. In July 2010, the Šiauliai College of the Budget became the Šiauliai State College (according to the legal form, a public institution, viešoji įstaiga ).
