State Prize for Multimedia and e-Business

The State Prize for Multimedia and e-Business is one of the state prizes of the Republic of Austria and has been awarded by the Federal Ministry for Science, Research and Economy (BMWFW) since 1997 for excellent multimedia productions and innovative e-business solutions. The jury is made up of representatives from business, politics, teaching and research, as well as specialist journalists. In addition to the state award winner, category winners are determined, as well as a promotional and special award. The State Prize for Multimedia and e-Business has been awarded every two years since 2009.

The Federal Ministry for Digitization and Business Location has been awarding the State Prize for Digitization since 2019 .
