State regulation

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The state regulation is a part of the respective constitutions of the countries Aruba , Curaçao and Sint Maarten of the Kingdom of the Netherlands .

history

Until the Statuut voor het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden was introduced in 1954, the Kingdom of the Netherlands consisted of the Netherlands and its colonies . The constitution was the Grondwet voor het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden of 1815. According to Chapter XI (Articles 73 and 74) of the Charter of the United Nations , the kingdom was obliged, among other things, to decolonize.

The statute was agreed between the kingdom and the colonies of Suriname and the Netherlands Antilles . Since then it has regulated all fundamental affairs of the kingdom. Since then, the constitutions have consisted of the (superordinate) statute and the grondwet (in the Kingdom and in the country of the Netherlands) or the state regulation of the respective countries.
