Stabil Elite is a German band from Düsseldorf . They mix electronic elements with those of classical bands and thus create their own sound cosmos.

history

The band was founded by Lucas Croon, Nikolai Szymanski and Martin Sonnensberger in 2007. The band name is borrowed from the German science fiction film Das Millionenspiel from 1970, in which a fictional group appears under the same name. In 2012 the bassist Timo Hein joined the band, initially as support for live concerts and since 2016 officially as a permanent member of the band.

After various compilations and samplers, Stabil Elite released the EP Gold in 2011 and their debut album Douze Pouze in 2012 . The debut was highly praised by critics across Germany and was named record of the month by Musikexpress , among others . As a result, the young Düsseldorf band was on the move around the world. They played concerts in Israel, Palestine, Mexico, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines and most recently in March 2016 at the invitation of the renowned South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas.

In 2016 her second studio album Spumante was released in digital form (iTunes, Spotify etc.), CD and LP.
