Stacey Lovelace was never selected in a WNBA draft by a WNBA team. Still, she made the leap into the WNBA when she was signed by the Seattle Storm prior to the 2000 season . Lovelace played for the Storm for two seasons. After that, however, she was not further signed by any WNBA team. In the 2004 season she celebrated her comeback with the Minnesota Lynx , for which she served two seasons. During these two seasons she played in all games for the Lynx. In the 2006 season she played for the first time for the Chicago Sky , for which she scored an average of 7.4 points and four rebounds per game. As for the Lynx before, she was also on the field for the Sky in every season game. As a result, their point average deteriorated to 2.7 points per game and their rebound average to 1.4 rebounds per game.
