The New George V Stadium is a football stadium in Curepipe , Mauritius . It has a capacity of 6,200 seats.
history
The first George V Stadium was built in 1954 and completed the following year. In 2001 the old stadium was demolished and in 2003 the new one was built. It was used in 2003 for the Indian Ocean Island Games and since then has been the home ground of the Mauritian national football team alongside the Stade Anjalay .
